SMFS invites all medieval feminist scholars and their allies to attend a banquet...enjoy some Thai food, meet other medieval feminist scholars, and catch up with the work of old friends. The meal will feature a fixed menu catering for vegetarians and non-vegetarians and wine and will include: Mixed starter with dips Chicken in green curry; roasted duck with sweet and sour; stir-fried prawn, chilli and basil; egg rice; mixed vegetables in massaman curry; deep-fried bean curd with cashews; stir-fried mixed vegetables with soya sauce; egg fried rice with pineapple and raisins. Students and underemployed scholars are invited to pay half the cost of their meal. All others are invited to consider making a donation to pay for the second half of subsidized meals. If you are a faculty member and you invite a student to this event at your own cost, please note that paying both halves of the student's meal requires you to register the student AND make the donation. If financial considerations prevent you from attending this event, please contact the SMFS treasurer Vickie Larsen by email at email@example.com. If you would prefer to pay by cash or cheque at the event, register here and email a quick note to Vickie Larsen at firstname.lastname@example.org so she can add you to her list of people who plan to pay on the night. If you have any questions, or have special dietary needs, please contact Roberta Magnani or Liz Herbert McAvoy.
